Why do you want the poem written: For something that my wife will not expect. A nice way to say I think your the one and only lady for me and to thank her for our 2 very cute kids.
What are the key messages you would like to send: That she is great at everything she does and I love her for that very much and she is a very great person to be around and that she is great to live life with. Her name is Delta Dawn and that is a beautiful name. Life got so much better after we met and started a life together and we have a lot more to live if she will put up with me for another 40 or 50 yrs. I do hope this is the best Anniversary yet with many more to come.

The Dawn Of Our Future
| Hello, Delta Dawn, these words are just for you, because I'm proud of who you are, and I'm very proud of what you do. And I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, and give you some words, they're straight from the heart: Firstly, I'd like to begin by looking skywards, and thanking my lucky stars above, as I know I've been blessed to have found you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. I wanted to get you something that you would not expect, something that expressed exactly how I feel, because I know what we have is something so precious, it's a treasure that you could never beg, borrow or steal. I also wanted to thank you for Darian and Gavin, I think of them and my heart swells and fills with pride, and I know they couldn't have chosen a finer mother, I know they couldn't - even if they'd tried. I guess that life was never meant to be easy, and some days, that's the way that it seems, but we've made it through the tough times, and we're still one of the world's strongest teams. You're great with the kids and you care for us all, and I know as children go, I am like the third, but when you said "I do" on our wedding day, well, they were the sweetest words I've ever heard. I hope you know by now that you're my one and only, in truth, I simply love you with all my heart and soul, for with you in my life, I feel so complete, yes, you and the kids make me feel so completely whole. You're truly great at everything you do, and you're a fantastic person to be around, it's marvelous to be living my life with you, my love for you simply knows no limit, no abound. Delta Dawn is a beautiful name, just like you, it conjures up an image of magical pink sky, and I think this is only the dawn of our future, I'd better explain that, or at least I'll try. You see, life got so much better after we met, and there's been so much more laughter than tears, and I know we've got so much to look forward to, I just hope you can put up with me for another 50 years. I do hope that this anniversary is our best ever, because I've never really expressed just how wonderful you are, but if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. I'd also like to say Happy 10th Anniversary, I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, Delta Dawn, you're truly wonderful, and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore. |
