Why do you want the poem written: I thought this is the ultimate gift for our 5th wedding anniversary. Material gifts just wouldn't do. We love each other more with each day. We have been together for over 11 years now. We have had two beautiful children, twins, a boy and a girl. Kaikoa and Noelani. They have added to our joy.
What are the key messages you would like to send: That I love him more with each day that passes. That he is my best friend and the love of my life. That I will be by his side forever.
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: The birth of our twins May 16, 2002. They are a joy to both of us. He is a wonderful father and husband. He is hard worker and a true friend to all he meets. He is so special. On our wedding day he played during the ceremony Mink DeVilles So In Love Are We. It was a great song, but it kept going on and on. Just when you thought it was going to be over, it kept going. Everyone started laughing.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: It's so hard for me to put into words the way I feel. My husband is everything anyone could ever wish for. My friends and family have the utmost admiration for him. When family or friends are over he is the ultimate gentlemen, constanting asking them if they need anything. He'll change the dirtiest diapers, clean house and cook and never complain. It's not like he always does these things, but he will do it and not have to be asked if need be. My family and friends always tell me how lucky I am. I have been truly blessed.

Whispered Words
| Hello, my wonderful Mark, these words are just for you, because I'm proud of who you are, and I'm very proud of what you do. And I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd whisper a few feelings, and give you some words, they're straight from the heart. I thought that this would be the ultimate gift, a material gift wouldn't tell you what's here, in my soul, for with you in my life, I am complete, you are the one that makes me completely whole. So, I'll begin by looking skywards, and thanking those in the heavens above, friends and family tell me that I've been blessed, and I know that I've been blessed with your love. Actually, our love grows with each and every passing day, and we've been together for over eleven years now, and I wanted to whisper what is in my heart, well, I'll give it my very best try, somehow. You see, truly, you are my very best friend, and unquestionably, you are the love of my life, and I just wanted to thank you for being you, I'm very proud to be called your wife. Kaikoa and Noelani are so very special, truly, they are our dreams personified, and I know they couldn't have picked a finer father, I know they couldn't - even if they'd tried. Not only are you a wonderful father, you are the best husband on this planet Earth, and Mark, I know your true and honest value, yes, I know exactly what your love is really worth. You are a true friend to everyone you meet, you're a hard worker and so special to the bone, and I just wanted to thank you for your love, since I've met you, I've never once felt that I was alone. It's so hard to put into words what you mean to me, how do you describe it when you finally catch your dreams? You are everything that anyone could ever ask for, and together, we make one of the world's finest teams. Friends and family have the utmost admiration for you, and when they visit, you play the ultimate host, sometimes I just watch you and I feel so very lucky, and that I'm married to you is something I'll always proudly boast. You'll change the dirtiest diapers, you'll cook and clean, and I've never once ever heard you complain, and if you asked me to marry you tomorrow, I would do it, without hesitation, all over again. Because I know you don't necessarily enjoy those tasks, but you know they're there and they need to be done, and I just wanted to thank you for your love, your light, in every way, you've been like my morning sun. And as you know, I was married previously, but that was a disaster in every shape and form, but one game of volleyball, and then one of baseball, well, then happiness started to become my daily norm. And I just wanted to say that "I love you", I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, just know that I'll love you for all eternity, and I'll be there, by your side, forever and ever. And from those early huge telephone bills, to rose petals, that started at the door, my love for you grows with every morning whisper, so I'll whisper back "Mark, I'll love you for evermore". |
