| You have a special person, who is trying to get out on top, he is the one that I love, the one who knows how to stop. You're trying to win at all costs, some days you don't know what to do, but I know that you're battling this, just trying your best to get through. So believe in yourself, look deep and dig from your past, find the resolve within, and make that resolve your last. Because you are surrounded by so much love, and have so much love to give right back, and all we ever want for you, is to get yourself back on track. And this disease that you've got, I know it can be a lonely road, but let me share your burden, let me help you with your load. Send that addict on his way, go on, show him to the door, and then take it one day at a time, and say "I don't do drugs anymore". And you need to find your inner peace, and you need to be unbelievably strong, and be granted the wisdom and the strength, to know what is right and what is wrong. You have to learn how to walk, you have to learn how to run, and now you must learn how to beat this, and keep learning until your learning's done. I know it'll be a struggle, probably your hardest battle yet, but a fight that is so worth winning, this'll be a win that you won't forget. And I love the real you, you have such a heart of gold, and I'm looking forward to our stories, that haven't yet been written or told. You are the love of my life, we've shared so many good times, and life wasn't meant to be easy, sometimes its hard to find the rhymes. There are times that you don't realize, just how very much loved you are, but you are the centre of my universe, you are my shining star. Remember our time in Toronto? You were sober and coherent everyday, we had such a great time then, what more is there left to say? So just know that I love you, you mean so very much to me, and I want us to be together, living happy and yes, soberly. So feel good about yourself, because I love you with all my heart, this is the first day of the rest of our life, so let's give that new life a start. |
