Why do you want the poem written: It will be our one year anniversary.
What are the key messages you would like to send: That our first year was a rough one, and that we are in a whole new year and it will be a lot better How Proud of her I am for her growth as a person, and in life. For finally taking the leap into school and letting me support her in that venture. For allowing me to love her.
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Tisha and I have been together for one year on March 1, and it has been a very tough year. She was with me through the dramatic divorce, and career move. She relocated to CA for North Carolina in Feb 2004. She came her to better herself and have more opprtunity. It was then that I actually told her that I had been attracted to her since the 1st time I saw her in September 2000. It was at happy hour at El Torito Mexican Resturanunt. I had to have a margarita to loosen up. She was very surpised and shocked. It was then that we got together. I lover her more than anything. She is my light in the morning, and my moon when I sleep. I can't wait for the years ahead.

| Our first year was a rough one, you would certainly never call it red letter, but this, gladly, is a whole new year, and yes, it's going to get a whole lot better. And I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, and give you some words, straight from the heart. Firstly, I think I'll begin by looking skywards, and thanking those in the heavens above, because I know I've been blessed to have shared you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. Not only have you grown as a person, but also grown and you walk taller in life,. and I just wanted to say I'm proud of you, I'm very proud to be called your wife You've been with me every step of the way, through a career move and the dramatic "D", and I just wanted to thank you for being you, you've made my world a great place to be. Ever since El Tonto's I've been attracted and I know that came as a shock, a surprise, but I know it wasn't the margarita raising my blood pressure, it was your look, your warmth, your eyes. And I just wanted to say "I love you", in truth, I love you with all my heart and soul, for with you in my life, I feel complete, you are the one that makes me completely whole. I love you more than anything, more than anything on this planet Earth, because I, for one, know your true and honest value, yes, I know that "I do" were the finest words I ever said. I also know that I've never told you before, I've never really said just how wonderful you are, but if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. I also wanted to say Happy First Anniversary, I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, Leutissuer, you're wonderful, and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore. |
