| Catherine, I'm sorry, I'm hurting with all my heart, and I just wanted you to forgive me, but to be honest, I didn't know where to start. So maybe I'll begin by looking skywards, and thanking those in the heavens above, because I know I've been blessed to have shared you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. I'm so sorry that I hurt you, I know now that words can cut like a knife, what I really meant to say is I'm proud of you, I'm very proud that I can call you my wife. And that's the way I want it for all eternity, I want us to live out our lives together, because we promised until death do us part, and that promise is meant to last forever and ever. I will never mistreat you again, I will never again say another horrible word, because if I could replay that time again, well, those would be something you have never heard. But the clocks, they only go the one way, so it's not good, me living in the past, because I want us to share our future, I want us to create something that'll last and last. I'll never speak to you (or your daughter) like that again, and I won't touch another drop of the demon drink, and the next time I feel the anger rise inside, well, I'm going to count to one thousand (and think). And I'll think about what I could lose, because that's how I feel right now, totally lost, and no matter what happens, I can't afford to lose you, because my heart knows the ultimate cost. Because I just can't live without you, you are my wife, my lover, my very best friend, and I promise, I'll treat you like a queen for all eternity, just please, please, don't let our marriage end.
