Why do you want the poem written: to be said at his barmitzvah. I would like to celebrate him and thank him and tell him how proud we all are of him
What are the key messages you would like to send: His Dad and Mom are very proud of him. Thank him for achieving all his has that we love him
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Dean is Head Boy of his school chosen above all his friends. He is the most loving caring child .He has achieved "the good fellow ship award " 3 years in a row. He will go out of his way to help others. He is always smiling .He has impecable maners , lots of friends and his heart has a very special flame in it not many others have. His kindergarden teacher spotted that he would be head boy at that early age. He has achieved brown belt in karate plays all sports at school .He is a very good swimmer achieving the runner up trophy for victor lodorum. Dean is a very accomplished drummer and has his sights set on a band when he gets older. He celebrates life every day with a smile and a want to help others.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: I would like this poem to be a thank you for being "DEAN" a wonderful child who has made his parents very very proud, culminating in this his Barmitzvah day

Special Flame
| When you first came into the world, you screamed and it took my breath away, and our lives then changed forever, and that one line leaves so much to say; There were many hopes and fears born with you, and now gladly, they've all been put to rest, because Dean, truly, you are our dreams personified, and as sons go, you are one of the very best. I would like to celebrate your life, you are now well on the way to becoming your own man, and I just wanted you to know that we're proud of you, so far, everything has gone marvelously to plan. And we'd like to like thank you for being you, we've never said just how wonderful you are, but if our love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. We'd also like to thank you for everything you've done, it's quite amazing, just what you've achieved, you've set out in life with a determined grin, and yours is a dream that can be believed. You're the Head Boy, but a most caring and loving child, we're so proud of you, because of you, we all walk tall, and you're such a blessing to this Planet Earth, "the good fellowship award", 3 years running, says it all. You will always go out of your way for others, and once people meet you, they're never the same, you're always smiling, you have impeccable manners, and inside your heart, there burns a special flame. Your kindergarten teacher spotted your potential early on, you're good at all sports and you have a brown belt, and we just wanted to say we're very proud of you, it's time you knew exactly how we've felt. Because truly, you can be all you want to be, drummer, swimmer, even a yachtsman with sails unfurled, you have that special flame that burns inside of you, so please, go on, have a go at changing this world. Because innately within you is the desire to help, you're happiest helping others find their feet, and whatever race you choose to run in life, I just know that you're going to be hard to beat. And we just wanted to say "we love you", your special flame stands you out from the crowd, and we also wanted to wish you Happy Barmitzvah Day, Dean, you're a wonderful child and you make us proud. May your flame keep on burning for all of eternity, because you've warmed us through and through, and if you haven't guessed this already, Dean, we love you (and we're very proud of you) |
