| Hello, my wonderful daughter, I'm so proud of you on this, your special day, and I have a few thoughts on my mind, there's a few things that I'd like to say. This is my gift to you, because you've been the gift in my life, you are such a beautiful person, and I know that you'll make a wonderful wife. I love you so very much, you make me so very, very proud, I want to tell the world of my love for you, if only I could and it was allowed ! You see, you're such a fine young woman, and you've been there for me when I needed you the most, and I'm proud to be your mother, it's a fact that I can proudly boast. You gave me the strength when I lost my Dad, you lifted me up when I was blue, you gave me a reason to smile again, you just knew exactly what to do. I feel more like your friend than your Mom, and that's a special place to be, because you simply mean so much to my life, you simply mean the world to me. I wasn't perfect as a Mom, and I've made my mistakes (and there's been a few), but you've forgiven me the sins of the past, and you've taught me as much as I've taught you. I'm sorry that I lean on you, but at times I just need your support, and that's something that is precious, it can't be sold and can't be bought. Remember, no person is an island, this life is just too hard on your own, and I'm so very, very grateful, for all the love and kindness that you've shown. So I just wanted to say thank you, you've made my life all the better for living, thanks for everything that you've done for me, and thanks for the forgaves and for the giving. |
