Why do you want the poem written: They are separated right now. Just to let her know how he feels about the situation.
What are the key messages you would like to send: How much he loves her, and he wants to take care of her, that she is his number one priority. Myra is very important to him. He is working very hard to become a better person and he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share They like to take vacations in the summer time. They had a wonderful trip to Paris. Another in London. He would like to take her to Italy.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: His love for her is unconditional. He knows that he was not always there for her for everything. They have children (he has two, she has two). The older children are away at college, and one left at home. He wants them to have a family again, but a healthy family. What he has learned through this time apart has made him a better person. He is a better listener, and parent, both will make him a better husband.

Now I Know
| I wanted to say a simple "I love you", but in truth, I just didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, and give you some words, straight from the heart: I wanted you to know that I'm working very hard, I'm working at being a better me, here inside, because I know I couldn't have picked a finer wife, I know I couldn't - even if I'd tried. I do so very much want to take care of you, you are my priority, you are my number one, and if I didn't have you in my life, my world's darker, because truly, Myra, you are my light, my sun. I know now what is important to me, I know now exactly how I want to live my life, I want to spend the rest of my days with you, I want us to be together as husband and wife. Remember our trips to Paris and to London? If I had my way, Italy would be our next port of call, and we'd spend the rest of our lives traveling, in the end, we'd find the world was just too small. So maybe then we'd blast off in our spacecraft, you know, just like in Fireball XL5, both laughing happily as our rocket launched, both in love, just so very happy to be alive. And maybe we could journey forever and one day, so I could keep on telling you just how wonderful you are, and then, we could use our love as rocket fuel, and before you knew it, we'd be passing many a star. Look, I know I wasn't always there for you, (and I'm sorry I've brought you abruptly back to Earth), but this time apart has made me a better person, Myra, I know exactly your value, your true worth. I promise, I'll be a better listener, a better parent, and undoubtedly, I'll be a better husband to you, because Myra, I'm very proud of who you are, and yes, I'm very proud of everything that you do. And I just want us all to be a family again, a healthy family, with happiness as it's soul, for now I know, you all make me complete, you are the ones that make me completely whole. |
