| I'm the oldest and live in Indiana, my mom lives in Washington State. We're separated by many miles, separated by the hands of fate. Mom pretty much raised me, my brother and sister on her own. You battled on through life, you battled on all alone. You are a slender Italian redhead, never took any nonsense from the start. But you love to take care of people, you've got slim hips and a gigantic heart. You taught me to be independent, to have and use my voice. Taught me right from wrong, taught me there's always a choice. You watched me graduate, and you made me so very proud, when you stood up and hollered; "That's my daughter !" out aloud ! So we'll be home this Xmas, the first time in twelve long years, a time of great happiness, even time for some tears. Living so very far away, is so very hard for me, I miss you so very much, I miss you miserably. You are my grounding rock, more than just my best friend, and I will love you forever, until our journeys' end. |
