| We've loved you and watched you grow, from your very first movement in the womb, Candy, we've watched you develop and flower, from that tiny seed to a beautiful bloom. We've nurtured you along the way, and watched with pride as you grew, we just gave you love and guidance, but your achievements were left up to you. You've bought us such joy and happiness, with you in our lives we've been truly blessed, and of all the daughters in this world, I instinctively know that you're the best. And from that tiny first movement, a very nice feeling for most mothers, you've been sending out your positive energy, you've made an impression on countless others. You've always been so very caring, teaching those who could neither read nor write, You can't imagine a world without words, and you've unselfishly recognized their plight. You've also backpacked around India, and now you know how very lucky we are, it's hard to know why some have so little, when we all share the same sun, moon and evening star. But you will not sit idly by, because you truly have a greatness within, and the hardest part of any journey, is that first step or knowing where to begin. But you will still find your way, and many others will feel the blessing of your touch, just know that your Mom and Dad are proud of you, and that we love you so very much. And raising you was simply a joy, it really was indeed a pleasure, your smiles, your giggles, your kisses, we'll think of them as our lifelong treasure. We fondly remember the bedtime stories, and tucking you in at the end of each day, we remember you phoning from your cousins, (you were scared after your first overnight stay). Remember Mom's helping hand for that special date? Or Dad lifting you up to the top of the tree? The light in your eyes when you got your first car? I'm sure that you do as they're all special memories to me. Candy, you never cease to amaze us, it's amazing the sweet measures you'll take, imagine sucking the juice out of strawberries, just so you didn't ruin the frosting on your special cake! Our family get togethers are sensational, and we look forward to our summer holidays each year, our Christmas times are so very special, full of decorations, stockings, angels and Christmas cheer. Candy, you've always been so thoughtful, you never forget to give us a goodbye kiss, it's just like all of your remarkable qualities, and they can be described as simply as this: You're a flower in magnificent full bloom, you are breathtaking, a beautiful rose, and of all the parents in this world, we're so glad that it was us that you chose. Because you've been our inspiration, you've been our sunshine in every ray, just know that we're so very proud of you, on this, your blooming graduation day. You see, we just wanted you to know that we love you, and to tell you how proud of you we really are, you're our light, our inspiration, in every way, you're our shining star. And no matter where your life's journey takes you, we'll be there for you whenever you're in need, because you are our flower, our life, and we're just so very glad that we planted that tiny seed. |
