Why do you want the poem written: I want to wish my hisband ahappy anniversary. It will be out first anniversary on the 26th of Jan 2005

What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): happy and very very romatic

What are the key messages you would like to send: My husband and I have been dating for 4 years before we tied the knot. There were many ups and downs that we weathered during our course of the relation but through it all he has been my anchor. He made me laugh. He wiped my tears. He gave me space. He taught me to love. He taught me to care. He taught me to be me Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: We were both working in India when we fell in love. I remember the time he asked me to marry him and I was a little concerned as my parents had inhibitions of us being too young. I remember the next day he vanished without telling me for a whole day and it was only later that I learnt that he had travelled to my folks place and impressed upon my father that I was the one for him. Also on our wedding night without our knowledge my cousins hid themselves in the closet and we had no clue. I do remember how sportive he was about the whole thing. I remember in the initial phases of courtships he would attempt to do cartwheels to impress me and end up landing hurtfully on his back

Do you have any other comments or thoughts: We met on our second day at the company (called Satam) that we joined where I hesitantly asked me some questions as regards the forms I needed to fill. He was shy and reticient. Our first date was 2 months later in a restaurant called ORCHIDS and I remember he put off buying a bike for himself so that he could pay for the date.

Please choose which package you would prefer: Unique

Will you require the original handwritten drafts?: Yes

Do you have any last comments or thoughts: Just that I love him very much and that my life is meaningful just because he is walking with me, because he is holding my hand, because he is with me, because he is my soul

Turning Cartwheels

Hello, my wonderful husband,
these words are just for you,
because I'm proud of who you are,
and I'm very proud of what you do.

I just wanted to say "I love you",
but in truth, I didn't know where to start,
so I thought I'd share a few feelings,
and give you some words, straight from the heart.

Firstly, I'll begin by looking skywards,
and thanking those in the heavens above,
because I know I've been blessed to have shared you,
I know that I've been blessed with your love.

Our first married year together has been wonderful,
and I'd like to thank you for your magnificent support,
not only have you love me, you've been my teacher,
I'm very grateful for every lesson that you've taught.

I know we've had our ups and downs,
and it took us four years to tie the knot,
but I know that with you in my life, I'm rich,
and honestly, I'm very grateful for my lot.

I feel that we've weathered most of our storms,
and you've been my anchor to keep me safe at night,
I just wanted to thank you for your love,
that love has been my inspiration, my light.

You've made me laugh, you've made me cry,
you've taught me to love and to be me,
you've wiped my tears, you've given me space,
in every way, you've made my world a great place to be.

We've come a long way from walking in India,
since then, there's many a tune that's been sung,
I remember when you asked to marry me,
and our parents were concerned we were to young.

I remember the next day when you vanished,
and for a time, I had a worried look on my face,
but you obviously impressed my father,
because you'd spent the whole day at my folk's place.

I guess once again you were turning cartwheels,
but thankfully, that time, you didn't land on your back,
and ever since I asked you how to fill in that form,
well, together, we've kept pretty much on track.

Our first date was at the Orchids restaurant,
you putt off buying a bike to pay for that date,
and I just wanted to say "I love you",
Pritam, truly, you are my one and only soul-mate.

And now, my life is so full of meaning,
because you're walking with me and holding my hand,
and Pritam, you've given me so very much,
especially an ear that will unconditionally understand.

And I just wanted to say "thank you",
I do love you, with all my heart and soul,
for with you in my life, I'm complete,
you are the one that makes me completely whole.

And when we first started our on this journey,
your failed cartwheels may have dented your pride,
but now, I know I'm the one turning cartwheels,
because we're together, walking side by side.

I wanted to say Happy 1st Anniversary,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, Pritan, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
