What are the key messages you would like to send: That they taught Steve and I how to become better people, how to treat others, how to love and how to make the family the key ingredient in our future together. That each family made us feel welcomed and like one of their own. They gave us the ability to trust, love and find happiness in every situation. And on our wedding day, they along with our friends they been the foundation of our relationship.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: Basically, we want to thank our families on our wedding day for giving us the individual values that will make our relationship stronger.

The Foundation of "Us"
| Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please? Because every now and then in life, there's opportunity you should seize. And that moment is upon us, after all, it's not every day a girl gets wed, and we've got some thoughts on our mind, yes, there's some heartfelt words that need to be said: Firstly, we'd like to begin by saying thank you, we'd like to thank everybody here today, you've all played wonderful roles in our lives, now, we do have some specific words to say: To our families, a sincere and genuine thanks, you've taught Steve and I about this planet Earth, you've taught us how to be better people, how to love, and to know exactly what our parents are truly worth. You've taught us how to treat others, and how the key ingredient is always family, we just wanted to thank you for being you, you've made our worlds a great place to be. Each family has welcomed the other's partner, and warmly, you've held us both to your chest, and we both know that we were born lucky, as families go, we have the very best. You gave us the ability to trust and to love, and that has been significantly higher ground, you've taught us so many, many important lessons, such as, in every situation, there's happiness to be found. You, along with our friends, have been the foundation of "us", and that's a mighty solid base on which to build, and if we ever had any holes in our character, well, through you, they've been miraculously filled. And talking of holes, I know we'll leave one or two, but you've also taught us to follow our dreams, and I know that Steve and I will be so happy, because truly, we're one of the world's greatest teams. We both just wanted to say "thank you", we've never really said just how wonderful you are, but if our love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. And just know that we will always love you, I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, our foundation, you're truly wonderful, and here's to our everlasting love for evermore. |
