Why do you want the poem written: Our 7th Wedding Anniversary which will be on March 1st 2005.
What are the key messages you would like to send: My love for him. The respect and admiration I feel for how he cares for us. How much I appreciate all he does providing for us.
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: We had a simple family wedding with a harpist in a small chapel with lovely stained glass windows. We have a beautiful, vibrant son Jacob who is about 2 and a half right now. I told my husband I was pregnant at sunset at a marina near our home the day I found out. We waited a long time to achieve our miracle pregnancy. We also have a son, Robert who is 21 and in the Air Force who I consider to be my son even though he is not my biological son.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: We enjoy nature together with many trips to the mountains where I used to live and the beaches too. Wil is very sentimental and writes poetry himself.

| Hello, Wil, my true love, these words are just for you, because I'm proud of who you are, and I'm very proud of what you do. And I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, and give you some words, they're straight from the heart: Firstly, I'd like to begin by looking skywards, and thanking those in the heavens above, because I know I've been blessed to have shared you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. I wanted to get you something that you would not expect, something that expressed exactly how I feel, because I know what we have is something so precious, it's a treasure that you could never beg, borrow or steal. I also wanted to thank you for Jacob and Robert, I think of them and my heart swells and fills with pride, and I know they couldn't have chosen a finer father, I know they couldn't - even if they'd tried. I have so much love, respect and admiration for you, and every day, you prove just how much you truly care, and if I could visualize the perfect husband, the perfect father, well, my mind would conjure up a picture of you standing there. I really do appreciate how you provide for us all, and I'd like to thank you for everything you've ever done, your love has been my inspiration, my light, in every way, you've been like my morning sun. Just like the sun that streamed through the stained glass windows, a simple family wedding, marrying the man of my dreams, I'll never forget the harpist, the beautiful small chapel, that's where we became one of the world's finest teams. The memory of that day will always be with me, so will the thought in our special song, Claire de Lune, and we took in and gasped at the Sedona scenery, you and the Grand Canyon made the perfect honeymoon. I'll never forget the marina nor the sunset, as the sun was setting I announced our new dawn, and I'd like to thank for our miracle child, I felt complete on the day that he was born. I hope you know by now that you're my one and only, in truth, I simply love you with all my heart and soul, for with you in my life, I feel so complete, yes, you and the children make me feel so completely whole. You see, life got so much better after we met, and there's been so much more laughter than tears, and I know we've got so much to look forward to, I just hope you can put up with me for our golden years. I hope that this anniversary is one of our best ever, because I've never really expressed just how wonderful you are, but if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. I'd also like to say Happy 7th Anniversary, I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, Wil, you're truly wonderful, and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore. |
