memorable moments that you would like to share: my grandmother would alwayse cry when she opened her gifts up at christmas time and we all gave her a hard time about it. we would lwayse grab a box of kleenex and set it next to her before she started opening up her gifts. She would start crying and we would give her a hard time about it telling her that its only a gift. well now she has us crying i guess the shoe is on the other foot.

Good Tired
| Hello, my dearest grandmother, you can see how I hate to say goodbye, and I wanted to explain what's in my heart, or at least, give it my very best try. You see, you've always been there for me, you've taken care of me in my hours of need, and you've been much more than just a grandmother, you've been a true and trusted friend, indeed. You used to cry so much at Christmas time, and now those shoes are on our feet instead, because there's great sadness in our hearts, and there's still so much left to be said. Because you've been an inspiration to us all, and your love for us has always brightly shone, and we can't bear the thought of you going, we can't bear the thought of you....gone. But your spirit will live on inside of us, and you'll still be there to lend a helping hand, in our quiet moments, we'll still talk to you, and you'll still give an ear that will understand. But it's so nice that you got to see Gracelyn, she's the living proof of your legacy on this Earth, for we all know your true and honest value, yes, we know what your love is really worth. And there's a difference between good and bad tired, bad tired is when you've done nothing useful all day, but good tired is when you've lived and served your purpose, and that one line leaves this one thing to say: Sleep well, our trusted and valued angel, because you're good tired, you've deserved your sleep, just know that every moment we've shared has been precious, and those memories, we'll treasure and always keep. We know that we've been blessed to have shared you, we know that we've been blessed with your love, and now it's your time, because when God calls, every angel must fly to the heavens above. |
