Eight Days
| How do I love thee? Well, let me count the ways, because I love you today, I'll love you tomorrow, I'll love you until the end of my days. I love you more than a blackbird's song, I love you more than watching my garden grow, I love you more than the stars at night, in truth, I love you more than you'll ever know. Because even though I'm a smith of words, I could never describe what I feel inside, but if I said: 'I love you', 'I'll love you forever', then at least you'll know I've tried. So, I guess I'll try to answer my original question, to remind you, it was 'How do I love thee?'. I love you more than life itself, and truly, you mean the very world to me. And I promise, me to you, for richer or poorer, I promise you a lifetime of genuine happiness, and I'm so glad I got to ask my final question, and in eight days, you had the sense to say: 'Yes'. |
