We am in need of a special poem for our son who will be graduating in June 1999 from an engineering college. He is 23 and an only child and has attended college for five years. It took that long because he went to school for three months and then worked for three months so that when he graduates he will have work experience and will be able to go anywhere to get a job. The school is Kettering University which previously was known as General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan. We live in Tucson, Arizona but we are originally from the Michigan area. We are very proud of him and would like something a little special for his special day.
Date of birth of our son: December 4, 1975
City of birth: Oscoda, Michigan
Activities and achievements in school: Band, soccer, volleyball, 4-H, golf, softball, Junior Honor Society, Co-Salutatarian in Junior High School, National Honor Society in High School for two years, the book of Who's Who for two years in a row in high school, Sigma Nu Fraternity, exchange student in Germany while in college for one semester, and is involved in many activities that contribute to the community.
| Hey Son, I'm proud of you, on this your special day, you've battled long and hard, you've done it your own special way. It's been five long years, and you've done it pretty tough, but there was never a time, when you thought you weren't good enough. You've worked your way through, three months off, three months on, done it harder than others, you've ran your personal marathon. So what does the future hold, I guess only time will tell, but just know for the moment, Son, you make us as proud as Hell ! |
