| Most any man can be a father, but not so a husband and a Dad, and you're the best of the bunch, you?re the finest that anyone's ever had. Because you've always been there for us, everyday you show that you truly care, and when I look at you, I see a real man standing there. You've simply been our rock, our constant through trouble and strife, and I'm so lucky to have met you, and I'm so very proud to be your wife. Now fifty years is a milestone, probably less than half way through, just know that we're proud of who you are, and that we're proud of what you do. How many men would have done what you've done? Not many I wager, not many I bet, and I'm going to prove my gratitude to you, and trust me - you haven't seen anything yet! Now the Brady Bunch we are not, but nevertheless we're united as one, and our love will keep the winter chill out, it'll be like our autumn sun. Our life has been a roller coaster, We?ve had our ups and downs, but again you've been there for us, and that's a dedication that can't be found. And I'm so happy that you married "us,? five kids, a dog and all, you've carried us on your shoulders, and we all feel about ten feet tall. So we'd just like to say thank you, that's really what these words are for. Oh yes, Happy 50th Birthday, darling, and here's to at least another fifty more. |
