Sealed With A Kiss
| Days, weeks, months happen, and the years they can go so fast, and words that should get said, don't, and if they do they never last. So I'm going to change all that, because I have a few words to say, and my heart is so full of emotion, on this, my long-awaited wedding day. Because Paul means so very much to me, he is simply a gift from above, and I want to share a few lines, and tell you all about a wonderful love. A love that is so deep and rich, if it were a cake it would be full of cream, and for a girl to marry a man with that love, well, that truly is a magical dream. I know that you shouldn't wish your time away, but I can't wait to spend my life with Paul, he makes me feel so very special, he makes me feel about ten feet tall. Unfortunately, Paul was unable to meet my father, but they are so alike in many a different way, and I know that Dad is proud of my choice, because in spirit, he was here with us today. The two of them would have been great friends, they have the same qualities, they're from the same mould, sensitive, hardworking, smart and understanding, and they both love me unconditionally (so I'm told). When I met Paul I wasn't looking for love, I'd given up, "thought it was only true in fairy tales", but the winds of fate thought and blew differently, and now Paul is definitely "the wind in my sails". I can't imagine a day in my life, without having Paul by my side, and I'm so very happy to be here today, and I'm so very proud to be his bride. He has shown me how to love, and how it feels to be loved right back, he has loved me so completely, (and boy, he certainly has the knack :) And I just wanted him to know, just how truly special that he really is, and I want to seal my love for him, and I'm going to seal it with a kiss.... |
