Wedding Day Poem - From mother to son whose father had passed away.

Who do you want the poem written for: My son and his fiance
Why do you want the poem written: To give my son, Kurtis, some closure to his father's death. His father passed away suddenly(no warning) in Sept. 2002. He was 50. Kurtis was very close to his father and Kurtis is having a hard time not having his father there for his wedding. Kurtis and his fiance,Angelique, will be including his father in their wedding ceremoy with a song and lighting of a memorial candle.
What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): Both happy and sad

What are the key messages you would like to send: His father's life was all about his family. (Wayne and I were married 25 yrs and have 3 children. Our older children Kevin and Karen were already married when Wayne passed away.)His father will always be with him.
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Kurtis wrote and read a poem about his father at his father's funeral service.
Kurtis wrote about how much he will miss his dad - playing golf with him, not being there for his wedding, never meeting his granchildren, going back to work without him(they worked for the same Company). He also wrote about his dad's strength and his dad's love.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts :Wayne loved eagles. Wayne's life was like that of an eagle - marriage for life, protecting and taking care of his family.

| You wrote and read a poem at your father's service, and you spoke about him missing your wedding day, and although that one line expresses so much, it still means there's so much left to say: Because Kurtis, I think you were wrong, I see your Dad in your every movement, your every smile, and I know he'll be there with you today, I can see his proud look, watching from the aisle. But of course, he won't be sitting in the pews, because truly, he's soaring in the heavens above, as you should know, your Dad was an eagle, and you should know, you'll always have his love. He'll be with you when you light his candle, you'll feel his warmth in the flickering light, and throughout your life, he'll be with you all the way, he'll be with you, every dawn, noon and night. Don't think he's not with you on the golf course, don't think it's just skill that's got you that par, and tonight, if you go outside and look for him, he'll be there, in every twinkling star. I know that he'd be very proud of you, and for you, he'd wish only the very best for your life, because as you know, his life was all about family, and you're lucky, you've chosen the perfect wife. I also know that one day you'll have more children, and your Dad too, will enjoy watching them grow, so now it's time for you to move forward, you can't hold back an eagle, so just let him go. Because your Dad was always strong and so very loving, and yes, I too know his true and honest worth, but every eagle has to be free, to soar on high, eagles are just not designed to walk on this Earth. So just know that we're both very proud of you, and we're very proud of the person that you've become, so now, go on, enjoy your married life, because you'll always have our love. Dear Allen,Through tears and several attempts of reading through your poem, I can only say THANK YOU from my heart! The poem truly spoke to me as I'm sure it will to Kurtis.
Alterations - I'm sorry I forgot to mention that Kurtis has a 21 month old son named
Joseph Wayne. Could you please rewrite the part about children? Thank You.
