Tell Laura, I Love Her
| Hello, my wonderful Laura, these words are just for you, because I'm proud of who you are, and I'm very proud of what you do. I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, and give you some words, they're straight from the heart; Firstly, I'll begin by looking upwards, and thanking those in the heavens above, because I know I've been blessed to have shared you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. And I know that it's tough for you right now, I guess some would cruelly call it a "mid-life", but I just wanted to say that I'm proud of you, I'm very proud that I can call you my wife. Because truly, I love you with all my "my", I love you dearly, with all my heart and soul, for with you in my life, I feel complete, you are the one that makes me completely whole. In truth, I love you more each and every day, so tomorrow, I know I'll love you more than ever, and I want you to know how much our family means to me, I want you to know, I want us to be together. I'm truly sorry for not loving you enough in the past, and tomorrow, I promise, I'll be a better man, because I'm so sorry I left you all alone, and now to keep you, I will do just what I can. Solemnly: I will never, ever hurt you, and I'll never take advantage of you again, and I want only happiness for your future, and I'm looking forward to us being us, sometime when. Because do you remember how happy we were? Do you remember how we felt on our wedding day? Do you remember the promises we made to each other? (And that one line leaves so much left to say). Remember how we felt when Hunter Ryan was born? Truly, he was and is our dreams personified, and I know he couldn't have picked a finer mother, I know he couldn't - even if he'd tried. And I've never really said this before, I've never really said just how wonderful you are, but if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. I just wanted to say "Tell Laura, I love her", I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, Laura, you're truly wonderful, and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore. |
