So, you come home and rub her feet,
and I'll tell you, we both felt the benefit of that,
and for the record, Mom married her best friend in St.Lucia,
Mom says you're all man plus more (a matter of fact).
Mom and I just wanted to say "we love you",
but in truth, we didn't know where to start,
so we thought we'd share a few feelings,
and give you some words, straight from the heart.
So Happy 75th Birthday,
That's really what these words are for,
here's to you, (NAME), you're truly wonderful,
and here's to our love, for evermore.
However, it wasn't shining so brightly on your birthday,
if I recall (you won't remember), you were twenty one,
so wasted, you had to be carried up the stairs by a friend,
that night, certainly, your drinking days were done.
We just wanted to thank you for being you,
and to encourage you to all that you can become,
just know that you're a credit to this family,
and that you have one very proud Dad and one very proud Mom.
And that moment is upon us,
after all, 50 years, Mom and Dad were wed,
and we've got some thoughts on our mind,
yes, there's some heartfelt words that need to be said.
And I also wanted to Happy 80th Birthday,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, (NAME), grandmother, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to at least another eighty more!
Mom likes that you can sit and talk about anything,
but you're also happy just sitting with nothing to say,
either way, Mom feels most comfortable when you're near her,
Mom says her finest 24 hours were all on her wedding day.
And you worked long and hard all your life,
you made a great success out of Gotofast,
and I?m so sorry that you and Mom separated,
but I guess some things are not meant to last.
Because you taught me that everything is possible,
and now I find a way, because you gave me the will,
and I know you stayed with Mom as long as you could,
but at the end of the day, she?s really quite ill.
Mom, I'm not pulling on your "urethra",
because I do have a few heartfelt words to say,
and now is as good a time as any,
after all, it's not every day you have your birth-day.
I'd also like to say Happy 75th Birthday,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, <NAME>, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
You see, I know that Mom loves you very much,
and she tells me you're the best friend she's ever had,
and me, well, I know I'm the luckiest lad on Earth,
because I have you as my father, my Dad.
We remember the camping trips at Mill Creek,
where skunks were always the uninvited guest,
and we'd attend the Presley's Mountain Music jubilee,
and Mom would laugh at Sid and the parts she liked the best.
Mom finds that she gravitates toward you,
especially when she's uncomfortable or in a fix,
it's because you are so loving and protective,
and you've taught Mom how many points for a touchdown (six).
Along the way, you met the oh so very beautiful mom,
the bagger kept on asking the cashier (until she said "yes"),
little did you know back then you'd climb the mountain,
and that you'd share a lifetime of happiness.
So I kept on insisting that I would wear it,
especially for my annual school photo shoot,
Gran, you used to get into trouble a lot by Mom & Dad
because you were very generous with your hard earned loot.
Now you both love watching your old westerns,
we know that Mom is particularly fond of John Wayne,
and it doesn't matter how many times you've seen them before,
if it's a western, you'll watch them again and again.
And we just wanted to say Happy 25th Anniversary,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you Mom and Dad, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to at least, another twenty five more.
I also know that you have a lot of fun together,
and Mom helps you in the field as much as she can,
one day I think we will both be out there full time,
anyway, at this stage, that sounds like a plan.
And we just wanted to say Happy 50th Anniversary,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, Mom and Dad, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to at least another fifty more.
Hello, our wonderful Mom and Dad,
these words and pictures are just for you,
because we're very proud of who you are,
and yes, we're very proud of what you do.
I have had an extremely hard time dealing with Mom's issues,
to be honest, I've been shaken to the core and beyond,
but you've been unbelievably supportive and encouraging,
your understanding has been like my magic wand.
I also wanted to say "Happy Birthday",
but there's a few other words that need to be said,
because I know I'm a hot tempered guy,
and some times my tongue gets easily led.
And we just wanted to say Happy New Mother's Day,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, (NAME), Mom, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
I know you both love watching men's college basketball
and you also watch a lot of football, I know,
and thanks to your "football class", Mom's now an expert,
she can spot the penalties before the ref has had a chance to blow.
But this is meant to be a happy day,
happier for others than for some,
and I just wanted to share some thoughts,
because I wanted to tell you about my Mom:
I also know that you're a very thoughtful and loving person,
Mom says she's never known anyone even half as kind,
even though you work so very hard every single day,
you come home and mom's the first thing on your mind.
We'll never forget the family fishing trips to (PLACE)
and Dad acting like he wanted to catch the biggest and the most,
but he was really happy when we hauled in a big one (Perch don't count),
and Mom made sure we were well fed (as in the evening, we'd naturally boast).
