(NAME), I love you more than anything,
you are my love, my very best friend,
and I just wanted to say "I love you",
(I may do so before these lines have their end).
Actually, (NAME) (BRIDES) husband) has been a rock too,
and they both just love, ++++, (my new boyfriend),
and I just wanted to say thank you to you both,
but there's a bit more (before these lines come to their end).
Lies, lies and more lies,
it's a diet that quickly wears you thin,
and then before you know it, the world's destroyed,
with no new chances to start, nowhere to begin.
And it's that love that will make me well again,
and then once again, we can have our wings unfurled,
because we've been on some great trips together,
so it won't be long before once again, we're exploring this world.
Now you both love watching your old westerns,
we know that Mom is particularly fond of John Wayne,
and it doesn't matter how many times you've seen them before,
if it's a western, you'll watch them again and again.
Maybe it?s just like the eons before you were born,
can you remember anything before you came to this planet earth?
And if that?s true then I have a question:
?What has your life been for? What is it really worth??
Although my first husband was a very good man,
and truly, we had many good times together,
but I know I've never felt this way before,
because what we share will last forever and ever.
And her short bread biscuits were simply to die for,
not to mention her sweet potato and macaroni & cheese,
and I'll never forget the Christmas Mock Crayfish,
the best ever. (Would you like some more? Yes, please!)
Because we've never said thank you properly before now,
we've never told you just how wonderful you really are,
but if our love for you were a distance,
then it would be further than the furthest star.
In truth, he's been very successful in the plumbing business,
kitchens and baths and as mentioned before, the odd john,
but he says it how it is, his pipes are pretty straight,
and he's never done any one of us any wrong.
And what is unfolding before us today,
really should come as no surprise,
because all this was planned so long ago,
sadly, today's telescopes also have blind eyes.
I only knew you for those three short months,
three short months before we tied the knot,
but now, one year later, I know that I'm lucky,
in truth, I'm so very grateful for my lot.
I believe we have known each other before now,
and that's why we've chosen our paths together,
a journey that was started so long ago,
a journey that's destined to last forever and ever.
Now, I didn't want to cry as I read this,
but there might be a tear before these lines come to their end,
because Mom, we really value you as a mother,
but more than that, we value you as a trusted friend.
I know you both love watching men's college basketball
and you also watch a lot of football, I know,
and thanks to your "football class", Mom's now an expert,
she can spot the penalties before the ref has had a chance to blow.
See, Mignonne, hath not the Rose,
That this morning did unclose
Her purple mantle to the light,
Lost, before the day be dead,
The glory of her raiment red,
Her colour, bright as yours is bright?
I have never been able to express this to you before,
I've never been able to say just how truly wonderful you are,
but if my love for you were a distance,
then it would be further than the furthest star.
And from the day that I met you,
I knew that I'd been blessed by the heavens above,
I knew I'd be standing here before you,
I knew that I'd promise you my eternal love.
I also know that I've never told you before,
I've never really said just how wonderful you are,
but if my love for you were a distance,
then it would be further than the furthest star.
(NAME), I love you more than anything,
you are my love, my very best friend,
and I just wanted to say "I love you",
(I may do so before these lines have their end).
And I may have said this before,
but I've never really said just how wonderful you are,
but if my love for you were a distance,
then it would be further than the furthest star.
