But you've always given us so much in our lives,

as Dad, because of you I walk taller,
in fact, I feel like I?m ten feel tall!
He would also, on occasion, bring us home a gift,
we'd run to his room and wait for him to open his case,
it's always a wonderful and magical look,
that look of eager expectation on a child's face.
Well, I think "you", are indeed, my real gift,
because I love you truly, with all my heart and soul,
for with you in my life, I feel complete,
you are the one that makes me completely whole.

(and that's a pretty good place to start),

but then you made me feel guilty, by removing the folds, at no cost,
so Doctor, I hope you enjoy this little gift, of all things French,
as thanks to you, it's now a total of 35 pounds that I've lost.
And I just wanted to say ?Happy 1st Anniversary?,
There, I think that?s said it, without too much hype,
and I wanted to say thank you, I love you very much,
so there you have it, my gift of type.
Maybe we should have put it in our gift baskets,
but I guess we were busy enough just with the flowers,
I remember Dad helping mom and I with the deliveries,
and he'd still make us laugh (after working all hours).
