Of course, we've had our share of ups and downs,
but life is rarely, if ever, a rose filled dream,
but through it all, we've stuck together,
we've proved to the world we truly are a team.
Well, I think "you", are indeed, my real gift,
because I love you truly, with all my heart and soul,
for with you in my life, I feel complete,
you are the one that makes me completely whole.
You are the greatest gift on earth,
in fact, a gift from God above,
and now I know the meaning of marriage,
and now I know the meaning of true love.
Of course, we've had our share of ups and downs,
but life is rarely, if ever, a rose filled dream,
but through it all, we've stuck together,
we've proved to the world we truly are a team.
And you're such a perfect gent, a true romantic,
your little presents always give me a such lift,
and you've told me that even when we're married,
you said that you'll still make a point of giving me a gift.
But if it's just too hard right now,
if it's not meant to be, then I will understand,
because life is very rarely a rose filled dream,
and very often it doesn't go as you'd have planned.
You gave me the courage to follow in your steps,
and at the end of day, that?s the greatest gift of all,
as Dad, because of you I walk taller,
in fact, I feel like I?m ten feel tall!
And you're such a perfect gent, a true romantic,

Look, I now realize that some things are not meant to be,
and life is never easy, it's not a rose filled dream,
but we can stick together, we can make the distance,
we can prove to the world that we truly are a team.
She loved the Lord and shared that gift with us all,
she had a big heart and taught us all how to give,
she was always thinking of and doing for others,
in truth, I think she taught us all how to live.

You've seen some hard times in recent years,
but life is rarely, if ever, a rose filled dream
but through it all, you've stuck together,
you've proved to the world you truly are a team.
Because he's always been so very compassionate,
he's like a good chocolate, soft but hard on the outside,
and I know I couldn't have chosen a finer husband,
I know I couldn't - even if I'd tried.
