You won?t be able to take your possessions with you,
so materially, it just won?t matter a damn,
so if you?ve spent your life gathering gold,
well at the end of your days, that?s just a sham.
And you're such a perfect gent, a true romantic,
your little presents always give me a such lift,
and you've told me that even when we're married,
you said that you'll still make a point of giving me a gift.
You gave me the courage to follow in your steps,
and at the end of day, that?s the greatest gift of all,
as Dad, because of you I walk taller,
in fact, I feel like I?m ten feel tall!
My mother has been my inspiration,
she has guided me throughout my life,
and there are some words that I need to say,
especially now that I'm a wife :)
Grandmother always had a joke for us,
she was full of vim and vigor and the joy of life,
she was a wonderful mother and grandmother,
and of course, she was a loving and dedicated wife.
Because you have persistently and consistently loved us,
and it seems like 'you' is always the last thing on your mind,
you have this wonderful gift of being able to inspire,
and we know that's a treasure and so very hard to find.

Ah, Mignonne, in how few hours,
The petals of her purple flowers
All have faded, fallen, died;
Sad Nature, mother ruinous,
That seest thy fair child perish thus
'Twixt matin song and even tide.
Because you have shown me what love is for,
and the love that two people can have for one another,
you have shown me how to be a devoted wife,
and of course, how to be a wonderful mother.
She loved the Lord and shared that gift with us all,
she had a big heart and taught us all how to give,
she was always thinking of and doing for others,
in truth, I think she taught us all how to live.
But I?m so glad you?ve found your happiness,
because in this life, you?ve given enough blood,
and now you?re ?flashier than a gold toothed rat?,
and you really do look as ?happy as a pig in mud?.
Because he is such a perfect individual,
and truly, he is our dreams personified,
and I know he couldn't have chosen a finer mother,
I know he couldn't - even if he'd tried.
And you're such a perfect gent, a true romantic,

because I love you truly, with all my heart and soul,
for with you in my life, I feel complete,

I took care of your dad until he had to go
and your mother when she was very ill,
I guess I step in so you don't have to,
I always try to protect you (and I know that I always will).
I loved that dress so much I wanted to wear it everyday,
even if it had a stain on it just below the chin,
I had a very strong nature with my own ideas,
my mother was exasperated, because she knew I'd win.
Well, I think "you", are indeed, my real gift,
because I love you truly, with all my heart and soul,
for with you in my life, I feel complete,
you are the one that makes me completely whole.
Because you'll always be a winner in our eyes,
and your s is already a story that must be told,
all we ask is that you give life your very best shot,
and if there's even the slightest chance, go for gold!

in truth, I think she taught us all how to live.
Because you're the mother to so many children,
and I've discovered your true and honest worth,
and I know that I'm blessed to have shared you,
I'm the luckiest nurse on planet Earth.
I also wanted to thank you for (NAME) and (NAME),
I think of them and my heart swells and fills with pride,
and I know they couldn't have chosen a finer mother,
I know they couldn't - even if they'd tried.
Mother was (PLACE) homecoming queen,
and they met in college in (NAME) State,
they married and moved to (PLACE), (PLACE),
two young lovers blown along by the winds of fate.
You are the greatest gift on earth,
in fact, a gift from God above,
and now I know the meaning of marriage,
and now I know the meaning of true love.
And we just wanted to say Happy New Mother's Day,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, (NAME), Mom, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
